The Thrill of Newspaper Coverage

April 3, 2013  •  Colorado Cookbook

tasting colorado in denver postI jumped out of bed early this morning, knowing that the Tasting Colorado cookbook would be featured in today’s Denver Post. Let me tell you, for a foodie like me who has chosen to make a career out of teaching others to cook and food writing, it’s more than a small thrill to find yourself on the cover page of the Food section of your local newspaper!lucy unimpressedMy 5 month old puppy Lucy was unimpressed, which helps keep me grounded. I hope you’ll enjoy the article – here’s a link to the online story in case you’re not in the Denver area. Hope to see you at Compleat Gourmet on Friday for a tasting of that delicious Chocolate Cherry Mousse!

The newspaper article was a THRILL for us at Compleat Gourmet & Gifts (www.compleatgourmet.com) as well since it brought in many new customers wanting a copy of your book with your autograph! Thank you for mentioning us in the article and on your blog. We are looking forward to many more opportunities to work together!

Michele- Congrats on your cookbook! I will pick up a copy ASAP. I am a avid home cook and new blogger inspired by your success. I noticed you through another site and a sold out trip to Germany. Wish it wasn’t. Looking forward to following you some more. Thanks, Jaime
