Flammkuchen
When I announced that I would be partnering up with my friend Kirsten to take people on a food and wine adventure in Germany and France, it was amazing how many people just assumed the food would be horrible. I’m not sure what it is about American’s perceptions of German food, but after eating my way from Heidelberg, down the wine road, to Baden Baden, and into Strasbourg, I am here to tell you that not only is the food not horrible, it’s delicious!I’ll give you the quick summary of each meal, dish by dish, starting with this really great very thin crust type of pizza I had for my very first meal in Heidelberg.
