If you are counting calories, drain any fat from browned meat before adding marinara and use part skim or light ricotta cheese. If you are vegetarian or just want to reduce your meat intake for health reasons, you can substitute the ground meats - partially or in full - with a few cups of diced and sauteed vegetables.
