Whenever I teach cooking classes, I spend a few minutes on properly using chef’s knife. Once you master that beast, you really will have very little use for most of your other knives. The biggest error I see most people make with the knife is to press down on the blade rather than cut through with the full blade. Here, watch this video and you’ll see what I mean. Hope this speeds up your kitchen prep for you achieve better consistency!
