Cheesy Artichoke Tea Sandwiches

  • 24 slices whole wheat bread
  • 2 cans artichoke hearts, drained
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • salt, to taste
  1. Combine all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor and process until smooth. Divide evenly between 12 slices of bread and spread until smooth. Top with remaining slices of bread, cut off crusts, and cut each into 4 tea sandwiches.
