Serves: 3-4
Ingredients
  • 1 medium onion, roughly chopped
  • 2-3 large cloves garlic, roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup chili garlic paste
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 6 pork country style ribs
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients except the pork in a food processor or blender and puree until fairly smooth. Lay pork ribs in the bottom of a Dutch oven and pour BBQ sauce over the ribs, making sure that ribs are covered in sauce on both sides. Cover and bake at 300 degrees until very tender, about 4 hours.
  2. Remove ribs from the sauce and separate the meat from the fat and any bones; discard fat and bones. Shred the meat and set aside. Drain excess fat from the Dutch oven, then stir in about 2-4 tablespoons of water to the caramelized BBQ sauce in the pot. Stir the sauce into the shredded pork.
