16 ounces green chile sauce (I used 505 brand my son left here)
4 ounces creme fraiche
Instructions
Combine the cheese and chile sauce in a small pan and heat over medium until the cheese starts to melt. Add the creme fraiche and stir until well combined and the cheese is completely melted. Serve with veggies and tortilla chips. As dip cools, microwave for a few seconds to reheat and stir.
Notes
Don't think about using sour cream instead of the creme fraiche in this recipe as sour cream "breaks" when heated. The higher fat content of creme fraiche is what makes it work here. If you don't have creme fraiche you can use 4 ounces of cream cheese.
