Osteria Piazzetta Cattedrale – Ostuni, Italy

Once every year, I celebrate my good fortune that I get to host a group of guests on a food and wine adventure in southern Italy. We start in Rome, travel by high speed train to Lecce in the Salento Penninsula of Puglia, then retreat to a castle for a week of biking, cooking, and long meals at the castle with plenty of great wine. On the very last day, before sending the guests on their way at the airport in Brindisi, we enjoy a big family style lunch together in Ostuni, the White City, at Osteria Piazzetta Cattedrale. Roberto and his wife are wonderful, and the meal never disappoints. Here’s this year’s menu:
