Community Supported Agriculture

March 27, 2007 | Local Sources

I recently read a couple of articles about Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farms. Supporters of local farming buy shares to a farm and in return receive a certain amount of freshly picked produce (in many cases delivered close to your home) each week. It sounds fabulous to me and I thought you might like to check out the CSAs in our area by visiting the Local Harvest website.

I joined Monroe Organic Farm (that’s their cute little chicken and vegetable logo below) and hope to see many of you at pickup time this summer!
